Our dogs all live indoors as family members. They are never placed in wire-bottom cages, and are all fully house-trained. We also strive to do some enrichment via training with all our dogs - our puppies come from a long line of field champions, and our main goal is to breed Working Cocker Spaniels that not only adhere to the breed health standards, but possess the lovely and outgoing temperament that makes them excellent pet companions or working prospects.

Puppies are raised right by our living room, and are extensively socialized with people, household sounds, and other dogs. All our puppies get Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) to give them the best start in life and promote robust cardiovascular health and resistance to disease. They are dewormed at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks, and are given their first vaccination no earlier than 8 weeks. 

Runeheart's foundation Working Cocker Spaniels are all from imported, multi-champion, health-tested lines from the United Kingdom to Malaysia. Puppies are allowed to go to their new homes from 8 weeks of age onward after they receive their first vaccinations and health checks.
